Golf Camp

Max had the opportunity for the past week to attend Golf Camp at Thanksgiving Point. He had a great time. It was pretty exciting because his coach was Myatt Green, PGA Tour pro. He learned a lot and had a great time.
Giving Dad some pointers.

Taking a practice swing.

Smacking it about 75 yds. down the fairway!

He was on the winning team for chipping, pitching, playing the #10 hole. He was so excited. He won several sleeves of balls and a new golf glove.

Flip Megan Flip

Yesterday Megan came running into the house yelling "Mom, Mom, come here!!! I can do it!! I can do it." I asked "what can you do?"

"I can do a flip on the trampoline." I was a little terrified to know she was doing flips on the trampoline. Sure enough, she has taught herself how to do flips. She just laughs and laughs and laughs the entire time she is doing them.

Way to go Meg!!!! One of the best things in this world is to hear your laugh!

Sicker than a "Dog"

Poor Buzzy! Some how Buzzy got a boo-boo. We had to make an emergency trip to the Vet on Sunday. When we came home from church he had an open wound...the vet called it a "hot spot". It is very painful, and the vet had to sedate him to treat it. It took him all night to actually come out of the sedation.

It is not funny that he is hurting, but we were all laughing at him because he could not walk straight! He is now on antibiotics for 2 weeks, and has to wear this collar. He is not a happy dog!

In a few days the collar can come off, but he still has to wear a T-shirt so that he can't scratch his wound. Poor little guy. He hates having to wear Mya's onesie!!

However, he is glad to have the collar off. I think he is loving all the babying he is getting from all of us. As Max would say "It's so sad because he can't tell us that he hurts". Hopefully Buzzy will feel better soon.

Hobble Creek Canyon

We decided it was time for another ride. This time up Hobble Creek Canyon. There is a great path...no dirt this time! It goes up 4.5 miles and is very beautiful. Leave it to Megan and Mya for their great comments.

I had to stop and take a break for a minute and Megan said to me as she was passing by (remember she is being pulled by Dad) "Keep going Dear."

Then we got to the top of the path and Mya said "give me five Mom, we made it"! It was a grueling trip for her sitting on the back of my bike. This is one of the reasons I am keeping this blog; so I don't forget all the cute things are kids say and do. If I don't write it down, I know they will be forgotten.

3rd Annual 24th of July Party

Our 24th of July party was so much fun. I know I've said it before, but we have the best neighbors in the entire world!!!

This years activities included (of course) a bar-b-que. Yum Yum!!

Just hanging out with great company.

Painting glow-in-the-dark T-shirts.

Making tennis balls attached to strings with glow-in-the-dark paint. The kids loved them.

The annual water balloon fight. All 450 water balloons.

It is so fun to live among great people! Thanks for all the fun times.

And of course, it's just not the 24th without fireworks!!! Lots and lots and lots of them!!!!

The Duck Club

We all know Max has a terrible time getting up in the mornings. However, if it is to go to the Duck Club with Bokah or work at Grandpa's shop, he's up the second we tell him it's time to get up.

The other day Max was saying how lucky he is to have two Grandpa's that he can spend quality time with. He said " I have two Grandpas that are both very different. One can fix anything (Grandpa) and the other (Bokah) really knows how to take care of a yard, and loves to hunt. I'm pretty lucky to have both Grandpas who teach me different things."

We are very lucky to have two Grandpas who influence Max with their great talents and qualities. Not only does he have a wonderful Father to look up to, but two inspiring Grandpas to help teach him the things they have learned over the years. Thanks Bokah and Grandpa for being such a great example. We love you!

Replacing the battery in the four wheeler for Bokah.

Mya's Animals

Mya loves to take her animals to be. When you put her to bed you have to kiss all the animals.

She names all of them, and knows if one is missing, and then asks for that animal. She will not go to sleep unless everyone is accounted for, and kissed goodnight. It is so cute.

She also has to have her "ginky" (binky). I think the binky fairy needs to come some time soon??

There is Nokino, Sippy Cup, Cricket, Happy, Baby, Grumpy, Dopey, and Puppy.
