Mya Is 3!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYA!!!!

3 yrs. old. The time has gone by so fast!!!! Pretty cool playhouse! Dad and Grandpa spent all day Saturday building your new play house you got for your birthday. It's pretty fancy. Daddy even put electrical in it so that you can have a light; a chandelier!! Dad also plans to put a lamp post on the front porch and a door bell. We know you and Megan are going to have so much fun playing in your new house. We love you soooo much. You are such a sweet heart. We hope you had a great birthday.

Megan's New Cute Story

Megan came home from pre-school yesterday and said they had been talking about bugs. We all know megan LOVES bugs!!! The teacher had a spider in a glass jar for the kids to look at. Megan said she went over to the spider and looked at it and this is how the story goes.....

"Mom, the spider looked at me with his HUGE eyes and said mmm I want a bite of chocolate"

We were laughing so hard. She calls herself chocolate. So cute! Meg you keep us in stitches with the things you say.

"Wickedly Amazing"

Friday night Tom an I got to go on a date to see Wicked. I have seen several broadway plays in N.Y., San Francisco, and Vienna Austria. However, this performance had to top the list. It was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was so fun to spend some time together with the person I love most! Thanks for a great date night!

The story is awesome and the music is wonderful. My favorite song is "For Good". It reminds me of my wonderful husband. I definately have been changed "for Good" by being married to this great man! I am definately blessed.

The signs that your little boy is growing up!

Signs that your "little boy" is growing up fast...

Max is sporting a new haircut; the shortest haircut he has ever had!!! We think the barber was anxious for summer??? Don't really know what happened. Just asked the barber to "clean-it-up" a little...not too short. Apparently we need to be more specific as to what "not too-short" means. :) We're just calling it his "pre-missionary" haircut. I hope they call me on a mission!

The kids surprised Tom by decorating the house with balloons and streamers. He was very surprised when he came home from work. They had lots of fun decorating. We also made his favorite dinner...hamburger sliders. Nama, Bokah and Grandpa all came over for birthday dinner. We had lots of fun. Thanks for being such a great Daddy and husband!

One of Max's 5th grade projects was to create a poster and timeline of someone in his family. He chose to do his report on Opa; his great-grandpa. It was really fun to see him learn about Opa and his life.
