Family Home Evening With The Harrell Family

Monday night we had family home evening with the Harrell family.

A couple of years ago I bought a game called "Hold to the Rod". We decided to break it out for the first time and play it with the Harrell family.

This game is similar to Cranium; however it is all questions related to the scriptures. There are five categories 1)scripture questions 2)Hum a hymn 3)wild card 4)draw a picture 5)word scramble or spell.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Lots of laughing. Your not suppose to be able to use the scriptures to look up answers, but we decided that it would be more fun to use the scriptures. We had two teams...boys vs. girls.


Tom and Jerry kept us all in stitches laughing! Can you guess what this is??? And no, Megan did not draw this. This is a picture of a camel. Artist....Tom!!! Thanks for making us laugh so hard.


It was the boys turn again, and they had to answer a question from "hum a hymn". This time they had to fill in the blanks for the song. The song was "Home Can Be a Heaven On Earth". The question was "making home a part of heaven, where we ___ ____ ____." Jerry came up with the answer of "making home a part of heaven, where we scratch where it itches". Everyone burst out laughing.

Thanks Tom and Jerry for making us laugh so hard. Course how could anyone not laugh at "Tom & Jerry". Ha Ha Ha.
